Sketched Out TV

Well…its a bit of a long story, so we’ll spare you the details. Let’s just say this, we’re not people, we’re an idea…(insert laughter and rolling of eyes)…ok, ok, so that’s totally corny, and not who or what we are. We’re two guys who love to laugh, and completely fuck around. There, I’ve said it. Our latest venture (actually it’s our first reeeeal venture together, we’ve had plenty of adventures) is a sketch comedy show called SKETCHED OUT that incorporates our two great loves: Music, and Comedy. Now, we know what you’re sayin…it’s been done before guys…sure, so has most of the stuff out there in the world, but we’re doing it anyway…and this time we’re putting our own spin on things.

We hired a local crew of people: a Production Manager, Director of Photography, a Script Supervisor, a Wardrobe Department, a Prop Department, Sound Department, and Production Assistants. We got permits, scouted and acquired locations, and even had cattle call casting sessions. We didn’t mess around…ok, so we messed around a lot, but only in that work is play kinda way. We shot everything on DVX100 cameras at 24 frames per second (NERD ALERT!!!!) with a lighting package that would make Scorsese wet himself…ok, so wet himself is a bit of an exaggeration…maybe he would say “Hey, that’s not bad at all, for an indie” and then waggle his eyebrows. Our point? We(the entire cast and crew)put a lot of our hearts and souls into this and we know you’ll get a lot out of it…at least a laugh or two anyway.

The show is currently a web-based show, but with your participation we’d like to take it to the networks. We’ve got the Management, the Agents, and the Publicist in place…now we just need your feedback…that’s about it. We’re not asking for donations, or even a gentle reach-around in a dark alley, we’re just asking for you to tell us what you think, and then tell someone else. That’s about it. Well, we gotta go now. Have to think of some funny stuff to keep you coming back…wish us luck!
